One of the services the Town Council provides is the provision of allotment, grazing land and garage sites throughout the Town. These allotments can provide a much needed recreational outlet for many residents and budding gardeners with a total of 461 plots available across all sites. The Town Council currently manage five allotment sites which are located at:
The Town Council also work with various allotment associations who directly manage some sites in Seaham on behalf of the Council. These include:
Fishbone Cottages (Dawdon)
Wagon Works (Dawdon)
Ernest Field (Eastlea)
The grazing land sites which the Town Council currently manage are located at Dawdon Hill and New Drive both sites have numerous plots available for the use of grazing horses.
We currently mange three garage sites which are located at Shrewsbury Street, Rutland Street and Seaham Street.
